A hand-painted fabric wall decal set of a white mother duck and her four fluffy yellow ducklings, toddling along in a line behind her. Our in-house artist painted them in soft watercolour, and we print them on matte fabric in Melbourne, so on the wall they look painted on.

Which size? Pick by how much wall you want the little family to fill:

  • Medium, duck 30cm wide × 27cm tall: with four ducklings about 10 × 15cm each. Hung in a line the family covers about 65cm of wall, just right above a chest of drawers, bookshelf or reading nook.
  • Large, duck 39cm wide × 35cm tall: with four ducklings about 13 × 20cm each. Hung in a line the family covers about 85cm of wall, a bigger farmyard moment that pairs beautifully with our other farm animals.

Facing left or right? Choose the direction so mum leads her ducklings into the room. Three ducklings follow behind her and one stands in front, looking back up at her.

It depends on your paint. Our fabric decals are easiest on fresh, clean, non-chalky paint over a proper primer. Old, flaky or chalky paint can lift when any decal comes off. That's why every order includes a test piece: stick it somewhere out of sight, wait two days, then warm it with a hair dryer and peel slowly. Not for textured walls, raw plaster or chalky surfaces.
No. That's the difference between fabric and vinyl. Our thick matte fabric has no sheen, no white border and no plastic look, so the watercolour art reads as paint. Customers tell us family ask if the walls were hand painted.
No problem. Fabric is more forgiving than vinyl. Lift the piece and move it while you install. If it has been up for a while, warm it with a hair dryer first. Big pieces are easier with two people.
Fabric decals sit flat on the wall, with no raised border for little fingers to catch. Most parents place them higher up, out of reach.
The matte fabric holds the colour of the original watercolour artwork well. Screens vary, so if you're matching a colour scheme, email us a photo of your room and we'll help.
