It depends on your paint. Our fabric decals are easiest on fresh, clean, non-chalky paint over a proper primer, and come off with gentle heat: warm with a hairdryer and peel slowly, low to the wall. Old, chalky or poorly bonded paint can lift with any adhesive product. That's why every order includes a free test piece — try it on the same wall first. Lift the piece and move it while you're installing — the adhesive lets you reposition during the first placement. If it's been up a while, warm it with a hairdryer first. Step-by-step instructions come with every order, and it's genuinely a no-tools job: clean the wall, peel, place, smooth from the centre out.
Smooth, clean, painted interior walls — ideally primer plus two coats of good acrylic. Not textured walls, brick, render, flaky or chalky paint, humid rooms, or paint less than 4 weeks old. Put them up within 3 months of buying.

Enchanted deer, foxes, bears and bunnies under a woodland oak, painted in soft watercolour by our in-house artist and printed on matte fabric in Melbourne. Gentle, not cartoon, so the forest suits a newborn's nursery and still suits a big-kid room.
What's in the range
Deer and woodland animal sets, a large oak tree to put them under, birds and butterflies for the branches, and full-room sets that bring the forest together. A customer photo on the oak tree page shows a child beneath the tree with deer and butterflies around it.
Ideas for the room
Oak tree in the corner, deer family at cot height, bunnies low near the skirting where a crawling baby will spot them. Add florals at the base of the tree, or extend into more animals and nature.

Good to know before you stick
Our decals work best on smooth, clean, painted interior walls, ideally a primer plus two coats of acrylic. If the room has just been painted, give it four weeks to cure first. They're not suited to textured walls, flaky or chalky paint, or steamy rooms, and they go up best within three months of arriving. Every decal order includes a free test piece, so try it on the same wall before you commit. When it's time for a change, warm each piece with a hairdryer and peel slowly; how cleanly it comes away depends on your paint, so read the install guide and removal guide first.
