It started with one bare nursery wall.
I’m Clara. When I was decorating my own kids’ rooms, I wanted them to feel special — the kind of room they’d remember growing up in. What I got was a pile of Pinterest boards, a basket of décor that didn’t match, and a $2,000 total. The room still didn’t feel right.
A painter or a mural artist wasn’t in the budget. Most wall stickers I found were shiny plastic that looked like, well, stickers.
So we made our own: artwork that looks painted on the wall, that a tired parent can put up in an afternoon.

Every design starts as a painting by our in-house artist — koalas and kookaburras, dinosaurs and monster trucks, daisies and rainbows.
We print them on soft polyester fabric, not PVC vinyl, so there’s no plastic shine. Customers tell us their family asks if they were hand painted.
Everything is printed and packed in our own warehouse in Broadmeadows, Melbourne. No overseas factory, no outsourced printer.

Hi, I’m Clara. I’m a mum, and I started Tiny Walls because I wanted my kids’ rooms to feel magical without a reno, a painter or a moodboard that cost more than the cot.
Since then we’ve helped more than 30,000 Australian families decorate nurseries with a due date, big-kid rooms full of trucks and daisies, rentals, and the odd lounge-room corner for the grandkids.
One mum told us her son named the birds on his wall and says good morning and goodnight to them. That’s still my favourite part of the job.
