For a flawless finish, please check your wall before applying:
Clean & dry — Your wall should be free of dust, grease, and any leftover residue. Give it a quick wipe and let it fully dry first.
Settled paint — If you've recently painted, hold off. Fresh paint needs around 60 days to cure before decals go up.
Smooth surfaces only — Our decals aren't suited to textured, peeling, or unprimed walls.
A note on your paint — Walls painted with Wash & Wear or other low-VOC paints carry a higher risk of paint chipping, as do walls that haven't been sealed with a separate primer and finished with two coats of good-quality paint. And it's worth remembering that all paint deteriorates over time — even older paintwork.
There are many reasons paint can peel, which is exactly why we always recommend our heat-release method: simply warm the adhesive with a hairdryer before gently peeling the decal away. Do this and you shouldn't have any issues — perfect peace of mind for renters.
Use them fresh — Decals are best applied soon after they arrive rather than being stored for months.
Every order includes full step-by-step instructions and a generic sample so you can test how it takes to your fabric. It's a helpful guide rather than a guarantee.
