A complete Australian bush scene in one box: hand-painted watercolour gum trees with a koala, galah and kookaburra in the branches, plus a kangaroo, wombat and echidna below. Our in-house artist painted them, and we print them on matte fabric in Melbourne, so on the wall they look painted on.

Australian Bush wall decal bundle is just beautiful!

I bought the Australian Bush wall decal bundle with a little trepidation wondering if all the glowing reviews could possibly be real. The art work is so beautifully crafted and the quality of the fabric used is so high end that when I applied them to the wall they look just like a hand painted mural. They are gorgeous! Beautiful stencils, and mostly easy to apply. Might be better to divide the tree crowns into smaller sections as it was very difficult to apply them without creating air pockets or making the edges overlap

It depends on your paint. Our fabric decals are easiest on fresh, clean, non-chalky paint over a proper primer. Old, flaky or chalky paint can lift when any decal comes off. That's why every order includes a test piece: stick it somewhere out of sight, wait two days, then warm it with a hair dryer and peel slowly. Not for textured walls, raw plaster or chalky surfaces.
No. That's the difference between fabric and vinyl. Our thick matte fabric has no sheen, no white border and no plastic look, so the watercolour art reads as paint. Customers tell us family ask if the walls were hand painted.
No problem. Fabric is more forgiving than vinyl. Lift the piece and move it while you install. If it has been up for a while, warm it with a hair dryer first. Big pieces are easier with two people.
Fabric decals sit flat on the wall, with no raised border for little fingers to catch. Most parents place them higher up, out of reach.
The matte fabric holds the colour of the original watercolour artwork well. Screens vary, so if you're matching a colour scheme, email us a photo of your room and we'll help.
