Hand-painted fabric wall decals of a rich chestnut-brown horse walking through daisies, with pastel butterflies fluttering around it. Our in-house artist painted them, and we print them on matte fabric in Melbourne, so on the wall they look painted on.

Which size? Both sets have the same 19 butterflies. The difference is the size of the horse, plus 4 extra daisy stalks in the Medium Set.

Small Set: one corner
A horse just under a metre long, sized for the space above a dresser or reading nook.

  • 1 horse, 82 × 64cm
  • 19 butterflies, 9 × 6cm
  • 6 daisy stalks, 8–13 × 13–20cm

Medium Set: one wall
A big horse, 1.2m tall, that makes one wall the centrepiece of the room. On a standard 2.4m wall it stands half the wall's height. It's supplied in pieces that join on the wall.

  • 1 horse, 1.53m × 1.2m
  • 19 butterflies, 9 × 6cm
  • 10 daisy stalks, 8–13 × 13–20cm

Facing left or right: choose the direction the horse faces, so it looks into the room.

All sizes are width × height.

  • Watercolour art painted by our in-house artist
  • Printed on thick matte fabric, not vinyl, so there's no shine and no white border
  • Peel and stick. Lift and move each piece while you install
  • Designed and printed in Melbourne
  • A test piece comes in every order
  • Best on smooth, clean interior walls with fresh, well-primed paint
  • Just painted? Wait around 30 days for the paint to cure first
  • Not for textured, flaky, chalky or unprimed walls, brick, render, outdoors or steamy rooms
  • Put them up within 3 months of buying. Decals are best fresh, not stored
  • Taking them down: warm with a hair dryer, then peel slowly, down along the wall
  • How removal goes depends on your paint. Try the test piece first

A note on your paint — Wash & Wear and other low-VOC paints, and walls painted without a separate primer, carry a higher risk of paint chipping. All paint wears with age. The test piece in your order shows you how your wall behaves. It's a guide, not a guarantee.

We are so incredibly stoked with how amazing our decals turned out! We have had so many compliments from family asking if they were hand painted! They look so unreal and the quality is amazing!

It depends on your paint. Our fabric decals are easiest on fresh, clean, non-chalky paint over a proper primer. Old, flaky or chalky paint can lift when any decal comes off. That's why every order includes a test piece: stick it somewhere out of sight, wait two days, then warm it with a hair dryer and peel slowly. Not for textured walls, raw plaster or chalky surfaces.
No. That's the difference between fabric and vinyl. Our thick matte fabric has no sheen, no white border and no plastic look, so the watercolour art reads as paint. Customers tell us family ask if the walls were hand painted.
No problem. Fabric is more forgiving than vinyl. Lift the piece and move it while you install. If it has been up for a while, warm it with a hair dryer first. Big pieces are easier with two people.
Fabric decals sit flat on the wall, with no raised border for little fingers to catch. Most parents place them higher up, out of reach.
The matte fabric holds the colour of the original watercolour artwork well. Screens vary, so if you're matching a colour scheme, email us a photo of your room and we'll help.
