About the design
About the design
A hand-painted fabric wall decal of a life-like T-Rex mid-stride, jaws open and tail swinging. Our in-house artist painted it in watercolour, and we print it on matte fabric in Melbourne, so on the wall it looks painted on.
Which size? Both sizes come in sections, so they're easier to put up.
- 140cm wide T-Rex, 1.4m × 78cm: a big centrepiece above a desk or along a feature wall.
- 180cm wide T-Rex, 1.8m × 97cm: almost a metre tall, so it fills a wide wall and towers over little ones.
Facing left or right? Choose the direction so the T-Rex faces into the room.
All sizes are width × height.
What it's made of
- Watercolour art painted by our in-house artist
- Printed on thick matte fabric, not vinyl, so there's no shine and no white border
- Peel and stick. Lift and move each piece while you install
- Designed and printed in Melbourne
- A test piece comes in every order. Stick it up the day it arrives and check it after 2 days
Walls, paint & removal
- Best on smooth, clean interior walls with fresh, well-primed paint
- Just painted? Wait around 30 days for the paint to cure first
- Not for textured, flaky, chalky or unprimed walls, brick, render, outdoors or steamy rooms
- Put them up within 3 months of buying. Decals are best fresh, not stored
- Taking them down: warm with a hair dryer, then peel slowly, down along the wall
- How removal goes depends on your paint. Try the test piece first
A note on your paint: Wash & Wear and other low-VOC paints, and walls painted without a separate primer, carry a higher risk of paint chipping. All paint wears with age. The test piece in your order shows you how your wall behaves. It's a guide, not a guarantee.

Is this the same as the cheaper ones online?
No. Every Tiny Walls design starts as a watercolour painted by our in-house artist, and we print it ourselves on thick matte fabric in Melbourne. Copies are usually glossy vinyl printed from a photo of our art, shipped from overseas. If you find one of our designs much cheaper on a marketplace, it isn't ours.
Will it fit my wall?
Check the size above and the “How big is it?” photo in the gallery, which shows it to scale on a real wall. Between sizes? Size up: decals read smaller on a wall than you expect.
