A hand-painted fabric wall decal of a gentle green Brachiosaurus, its long neck stretching up the wall in soft watercolour detail. Our in-house artist painted it, and we print it on matte fabric in Melbourne, so on the wall it looks painted on.

Which size?

  • Feature Size, 1.4m tall (110 × 140cm): reaches more than halfway up a standard 2.4m wall, with room for a shelf or artwork above.
  • Giant Size, 1.8m tall (140 × 180cm): reaches from the skirting board most of the way up a standard 2.4m wall.

Both sizes come in sections that join on the wall.

Left or right facing? Choose the direction so the Brachiosaurus faces into the room.

All sizes are width × height.

  • Watercolour art painted by our in-house artist
  • Printed on thick matte fabric, not vinyl, so there's no shine and no white border
  • Peel and stick. Lift and move each piece while you install
  • Designed and printed in Melbourne
  • A test piece comes in every order
  • Best on smooth, clean interior walls with fresh, well-primed paint
  • Just painted? Wait around 30 days for the paint to cure first
  • Not for textured, flaky, chalky or unprimed walls, brick, render, outdoors or steamy rooms
  • Put them up within 3 months of buying. Decals are best fresh, not stored
  • Taking them down: warm with a hair dryer, then peel slowly, down along the wall
  • How removal goes depends on your paint. Try the test piece first

A note on your paint — Wash & Wear and other low-VOC paints, and walls painted without a separate primer, carry a higher risk of paint chipping. All paint wears with age. The test piece in your order shows you how your wall behaves. It's a guide, not a guarantee.

It depends on your paint. Our fabric decals are easiest on fresh, clean, non-chalky paint over a proper primer. Old, flaky or chalky paint can lift when any decal comes off. That's why every order includes a test piece: stick it somewhere out of sight, wait two days, then warm it with a hair dryer and peel slowly. Not for textured walls, raw plaster or chalky surfaces.
No. That's the difference between fabric and vinyl. Our thick matte fabric has no sheen, no white border and no plastic look, so the watercolour art reads as paint. Customers tell us family ask if the walls were hand painted.
No problem. Fabric is more forgiving than vinyl. Lift the piece and move it while you install. If it has been up for a while, warm it with a hair dryer first. Big pieces are easier with two people.
Fabric decals sit flat on the wall, with no raised border for little fingers to catch. Most parents place them higher up, out of reach.
The matte fabric holds the colour of the original watercolour artwork well. Screens vary, so if you're matching a colour scheme, email us a photo of your room and we'll help.
