Painted first
Every design starts as a watercolour painted by hand by our in-house artist. We print it ourselves on thick matte fabric in Melbourne, so there's no shine and no white border. Every design is our own. If you see one of our designs for a few dollars on a marketplace, it isn't ours.

The quality is high and the cut out is very detailed, making it great on walls that are coloured as there are no white sections (as was the case with other decals I have tried from another provider)! The high details do make the application fiddly and so I recommend enlisting the help of a second adult, particularly for the Octopus!

Up in an afternoon
No painter. No mural. No fumes in the room.
Clean, dry and dust-free. Best on fresh, smooth, well-primed paint.
Peel slowly from one corner and press it on. Lift and move it until it sits right.
Smooth it flat with your hand, then step back and watch their face when they walk in.
The details
Hand-painted fabric wall decals of nine sea creatures swimming between swaying seagrass: a coral-orange octopus, a stingray, a sea turtle, a red crab, two yellow seahorses and three spotted fish. Our in-house artist painted them in watercolour, and we print them on matte fabric in Melbourne, so on the wall they look painted on.
Which size? Both packs have the same creatures and 4 seagrass pieces. Pick by how much of the room you want to fill: one wall, or one corner.
Feature Wall Pack: one wall
A big octopus and stingray that make one wall the centrepiece of the room, or spread across two walls for a lighter look.
Accent Wall Pack: one corner
A small underwater scene above a dresser or reading nook. The creatures are smaller than in the Feature Wall Pack.
All sizes are width × height.
A note on your paint: Wash & Wear and other low-VOC paints, and walls painted without a separate primer, carry a higher risk of paint chipping. All paint wears with age. The test piece in your order shows you how your wall behaves. It's a guide, not a guarantee.
Questions
No. Every Tiny Walls design starts as a watercolour painted by our in-house artist, and we print it ourselves on thick matte fabric in Melbourne. Copies are usually glossy vinyl printed from a photo of our art, shipped from overseas. If you find one of our designs much cheaper on a marketplace, it isn't ours.
Check the size above and the “How big is it?” photo in the gallery, which shows it to scale on a real wall. Between sizes? Size up: decals read smaller on a wall than you expect.

Not sure about your paint?
Every order comes with a test piece. Stick it somewhere out of sight, leave it two days, then warm it with a hair dryer and peel slowly. You'll know how your wall behaves before the full set goes up.
Not for unprimed or textured walls, raw plaster, or chalky, powdery or flaking paint. When in doubt, test first.
