Tall hand-painted sunflowers on stalks that stand up from the skirting board, as if they are growing right there in the room, with little honey bees and butterflies to dot around them. Our in-house artist painted them in watercolour, and we print them on matte fabric in Melbourne, so on the wall they look painted on.

Which size? Pick one sunflower for a small space, or all three for a little sunflower patch. Every size comes with butterflies in all four colours (orange, yellow, light pink and lavender) and honey bees, all the same size.

Trio: a sunflower patch
All three sunflowers, 70cm, 95cm and 1.2m tall. Standing side by side with their bees and butterflies they cover about 1.4 × 1.3m, so they suit a hallway, a playroom wall or the space beside a bookshelf. One 64 × 142cm sheet, with every sunflower piece marked A, B or C so you know which sunflower it belongs to.

It depends on your paint. Our fabric decals are easiest on fresh, clean, non-chalky paint over a proper primer. Old, flaky or chalky paint can lift when any decal comes off. That's why every order includes a test piece: stick it somewhere out of sight, wait two days, then warm it with a hair dryer and peel slowly. Not for textured walls, raw plaster or chalky surfaces.
No. That's the difference between fabric and vinyl. Our thick matte fabric has no sheen, no white border and no plastic look, so the watercolour art reads as paint. Customers tell us family ask if the walls were hand painted.
No problem. Fabric is more forgiving than vinyl. Lift the piece and move it while you install. If it has been up for a while, warm it with a hair dryer first. Big pieces are easier with two people.
Fabric decals sit flat on the wall, with no raised border for little fingers to catch. Most parents place them higher up, out of reach.
The matte fabric holds the colour of the original watercolour artwork well. Screens vary, so if you're matching a colour scheme, email us a photo of your room and we'll help.
