Great results start with the right prep. Make sure your walls are clean, dry, and in good condition before applying your decals.
Not Sure About Your Paint? Test First
Not all paints are created equal. If you're unsure whether your wall is suitable, we strongly recommend testing a small section of the decal first. Apply it to a discreet area and leave it for a few days. This helps identify any potential adhesion issues and avoids damaging delicate or flaky paint.
Paint Quality Matters
For best adhesion, your walls should be:
- Properly primed
- Painted with two coats of good-quality paint
- Fully cured (outgassed) for at least four weeks
Even professionally painted walls can sometimes cause issues if they haven’t been sealed or primed correctly. Peeling often occurs when a top coat is applied without proper prep underneath.
Freshly Painted?
Please wait at least four weeks before applying your decals. This allows the paint to fully cure and helps prevent bubbling, peeling, or decals falling off.
Worried About Removal?
Our decals are designed to be removable. Gentle heat (like a hairdryer) softens the adhesive and makes removal easier, especially on delicate paint. See our Removal Guide for more tips.

Applying Your Decals
Unroll your decal sheet, peel carefully, and place the decal where you'd like. Smooth it out using your hands or a felt squeegee/microfiber-wrapped card. Apply firm, even pressure — the adhesive is pressure-activated.
For Large Decals
Overlap pieces by approximately 1 cm. Align patterns carefully and rotate slightly if needed for a clean match. Take your time for a seamless result.
Need to Reposition?
Absolutely. Our decals are reusable and can be adjusted. Just clean your hands and the wall again before reapplying.
Storage Tip
Keep the original backing paper in case you’d like to move or store your decals later.
Safety Reminder
Always ensure decals are firmly pressed down, especially near beds or sleeping areas. Check them regularly. If any start to lift or peel, remove them immediately.

Our wall decals are made from premium, non-toxic polyester fabric with an enhanced, repositionable water-based adhesive. They’re soft to the touch, matte in finish, and designed to look like hand-painted artwork once applied.
You can use them throughout your home, including nurseries, bedrooms, and playrooms. They're suitable for most painted walls, including low-VOC, wash & wear, and even Teflon™-based finishes. The upgraded adhesive allows for reliable stick and gentle repositioning, making them a great choice for renters too.
To minimise any risk of paint peeling during removal, especially on delicate or high-performance paints, we strongly recommend following our Heat Release Removal Guide. Our decals are best applied to clean, dry, and smooth indoor surfaces, and are not suitable for textured walls, brick, raw concrete, or humid areas like bathrooms.

2. Gently peel the decal from its backing paper, starting from the top.
3. Position the decal on the wall and smooth out any air bubbles using your hands or the included squeegee's felt side.
4. Repeat the process for additional pieces, if applicable.
For our larger arches, they come in 2 pieces for easier application. Simply overlap the pattern by 1cm for a seamless, stunning look.
