About the design
Hand-painted fabric wall decals of Australian animals, sold one at a time so you can build your own bush scene: a kangaroo, koala, wombat, echidna, galah and kookaburra. Our in-house artist painted them in watercolour, and we print them on matte fabric in Melbourne, so on the wall they look painted on.
Which size? Pick an animal, then a size. Small suits a cluster above a dresser or reading nook. Medium is the bigger size, for animals that hold their own on a feature wall.
- Kangaroo: Small 57 × 60cm, Medium 84 × 90cm
- Koala: Small 31 × 36cm, Medium 36 × 49cm
- Wombat: Small 39 × 24cm, Medium 59 × 35cm
- Echidna: Small 32 × 21cm, Medium 45 × 30cm
- Galah: Small 14 × 33cm, Medium 18 × 44cm
- Kookaburra: Small 15 × 29cm, Medium 18 × 40cm
The Medium kangaroo comes in 5 pieces, including the tail. Overlap them by 1cm to line up.
Mix and match a few animals and sizes to make a scene that fits your wall.

Walls, paint & removal
- Best on smooth, clean interior walls with fresh, well-primed paint
- Just painted? Wait around 30 days for the paint to cure first
- Not for textured, flaky, chalky or unprimed walls, brick, render, outdoors or steamy rooms
- Put them up within 3 months of buying. Decals are best fresh, not stored
- Taking them down: warm with a hair dryer, then peel slowly, down along the wall
- How removal goes depends on your paint. Try the test piece first
A note on your paint: Wash & Wear and other low-VOC paints, and walls painted without a separate primer, carry a higher risk of paint chipping. All paint wears with age. The test piece in your order shows you how your wall behaves. It's a guide, not a guarantee.

Is this the same as the cheaper ones online?
No. Every Tiny Walls design starts as a watercolour painted by our in-house artist, and we print it ourselves on thick matte fabric in Melbourne. Copies are usually glossy vinyl printed from a photo of our art, shipped from overseas. If you find one of our designs much cheaper on a marketplace, it isn't ours.
Will it fit my wall?
Check the size above and the “How big is it?” photo in the gallery, which shows it to scale on a real wall. Between sizes? Size up: decals read smaller on a wall than you expect.
